Can you help to make the case for the importance of mentoring services like those provided by MASH?
Would you be willing to take part in a brief and confidential interview?The MASH Programme is working with Dr Chris Wagstaff (Senior lecturer in nursing. University of Birmingham ) to take part in his study into the MASH mental health peer support programme, from the perspective of the mentors and mentees.
Participants will receive a £10 gift voucher.

What is the purpose of the study?
The aim of this research is to understand participants experiences of being involved with the MASH project, whether that is as a mentor or as a mentee.
Why have you been invited?
You are being asked to participate in this research project if you are currently involved with the MASH project, either that is as a mentor or as a mentee or participant.
Do you have to take part?
It is up to you to decide whether or not to join the study. Dr Wagstaff will describe the study and go through the information sheet with you. If you agree to take part you will be asked to sign a consent form. You are free to withdraw at any time, without giving a reason.
What will happen to me if I take part?
The research will be one interview, which should take about an hour. The questions in the interview will be about you and your experiences of either being a mentor or mentee with the MASH project. The research interview will be recorded and that recording will be written up. At no stage will your personal details be disclosed to any third parties.
