Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Watch Andy Langford, Cruse’s Clinical Director, explain who they are and how they are actively supporting people during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.


Cruse History


From their beginnings running clubs for widows from the founder’s house in Kew, Cruse Bereavement Care has grown to be a charity with an international reputation.


Over the years, they have helped bereaved people in times of crisis, such as after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York and the Manchester Arena Bombings, and have expanded to support hundreds of thousands of people each year.
